PAINTING

In my work I explore rooms, interiors and exterior worlds. I use photographic images to create an inventory of a room or a spatial situation. Later in the studio I transfer these images into painting, several views of a space are interwoven into a dense complex of images with multiple perspectives. Realistic depictions are combined with painterly elements such as colour drippings, independent structures, ornaments or dissolutions. All paintings are oil and acrylic on canvas.
