“Inteaminty” was our mobile performance at Burning Man 2025.
We are five artists from Berlin, returning to the playa after 10 years.
Back in 2015, we built Brobdingnag — a giant table with two towering chairs and a huge chandelier, where people could climb up and feel dwarfed, inspired by Gulliver’s Travels and the land of giants.
This year, we brought its opposite: a Lilliputian version.
With Inteaminty, we invited burners into tiny moments — serving fresh mint tea in miniature cups, pouring from tiny teapots, stirring sugar with little spoons, and offering a playful shot of Berliner Luft mint liqueur in thimbles.
Amidst the roar of the playa, our performance created a pocket of calm — a space to pause, sip, and connect.
